Cinnamon is used in treating throat infections and common cold. It helps in regulating blood sugar levels, It acts as a stimulant and helps in bowel movements and gastrointestinal tract diseases. Cinnamon has anti-inflammatory properties and helps in relieving muscle spasms and joint pains. Oil extracted from this herb is an essential oil, used for aromatherapy and in the treatment of skin ailments. This essential oil is also used in perfumes and body sprays to neutralize the odor. It is highly rich in anti-oxidants.
