We are pleased to present our new Supercritical Organic Triphala. Tattva's Herbs' Triphala combines the wisdom of Mother Nature with the very latest technology known as supercritical extraction. This state of the art technology delivers an extremely concentrated, broad spectrum and very pure extract. It is so pure that you can actually smell the qualities of the original herb in the extract. When you first open a bottle, you will be greeted to the original scent of the herb. It is sweet and powerful. There is simply no other extraction method so effective that you can actually smell the purity, fragrance and essence of the herb. This is is a testimony to the great care that goes into the selection of the herbs and the supercritical extraction process itself. To give you an idea of the potency and concentration of the extract, we often use as much as 200 to 250 pounds of fresh herb to produce just one pound of supercritical extract. All of the herbs are selected with the greatest care and grown in pure organic farm fields in India. The supercritical process produces an extremely broad representation of the herb's active constituents. Often times these are active ingredients that traditional methods of extraction cannot even begin to extract. In addition, the supercritical process does not use any chemical solvents at all. It uses safe and environmentally friendly carbon dioxide. This is the same carbon dioxide found in sparkling water, in the air we breathe, and absorbed by plants every day to sustain their life. The supercritical extract is then blended with the raw whole herb and what we refer to as post-supercritical extract to produce an end product that is superior in terms of freshness, simplicity, purity, and incredible potency all at once. Triphala is one of the most popular herbs in all of the Ayurvedic System. It is highly praised as a very safe and natural digestive aid, but it is actually much broader than that.

Herbal Actions: Triphala is composed of three herbs: Haritaki, Bibhitaki and Amalaki. Amla helps to maintain healthy cells in the intestinal wall, and the fruit contains the highest natural known source of vitamin C. It is said to have 20 times the vitamin C content of an orange. Bibhitaki acts to promote healthy mucus levels. The last is Haritaki, which acts as a bowel toner, rather than a laxative. These three herbs work in consort to gently promote internal cleansing of all conditions of stagnation and excess, while at the same time, they aid in healthy digestion and assimilation of food. In India, Triphala is considered the greatest and most versatile of all herbal formulations. For centuries, Triphala has been widely known and used as a standard household health supplement. Triphala is regarded as an important rasayana in Ayurvedic medicine. Medicinal herbs In the rasayana group are believed to promote health, immunity,and longevity. In many households, it is taken on a weekly basis by all family members to maintain health. Triphala is recommended in Ayurveda for the treatment of a variety of purposes, and also forms a base for many other herbal formulations.
